Calling all ladies who are a little bit terrified to speak in public: It's time to learn how to confidently and comfortably speak in front of a group of people!
Join us Wednesday, November 18th from 6-8PM at Hodgepodge Coffee House to kick off our latest workshop focused on helping ladies practice speaking publicly, giving pitches, or just building strong communication skills.
We'll start with the first speaker at 6:15PM and allow about six ladies 5 minutes to practice a pitch, speech or just talk about puppies. The group (including our in-house public speaking gurus Fiona Sites-Bowen and Theresa Childs) will then spend 10 minutes or less providing constructive feedback.
This workshop is a safe space; it's okay to stumble, lose your train of thought and catch it again. Everyone is here to help each other.
Afraid to go up and speak your first time? That's totally okay! Come and sit as an audience member so we have a sizable group to speak in front of. Bring your friends. The bigger the group, the better the experience!
